Israel has, one more time, violated International law and attacked the Sumud Flotilla boats attempting to break its illegal blockade of Gaza, in international waters.
Israel may think that the world will give up and let it continue its genocide of the people of Gaza and Palestine unopposed, but the truth is far from that. As Israel’s operation against the Sumud Flotilla is underway nine other boats carrying over 150 healthcare workers, journalists and activists are on the way towards Gaza, organized by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC*) together with the One Thousand Madleens to Gaza initiative.

We call on all Canadians and supporters of justice everywhere to:
Contact your local MP or other elected representatives and ask them to demand Israel release all Sumud flotilla participants, immediately, as required by international law.
Call for governments to apply serious political pressure on Israel: sever diplomatic ties with the Israeli regime, and demand an end to the genocide, as well as demanding safe passage for all humanitarian aid.
Share updates from CBG and FFC partners across media platforms and with your friends, family and colleagues.
Join local emergency demonstrations demanding protection for the Sumud flotilla and all humanitarian missions.

The best known Freedom Flotilla mission was the one in 2010 that included the Mavi Marmara on which Israel killed 10 International Peace Activists.
