URGENT:
Right before we were about to send this, we got news that the four
Freedom Flotilla boats headed to Gaza had been overflown by a
helicopter, drones and had spotted military vessels nearby. They
prepared to be boarded and went through the drills they had practiced

works to provide pro-bono legal services to those across BC is sailing
to challenge the hypocracy of Canadian leaders. Grace says, "Canada has
taken this position of peacemaker internationally, but really Canada has
been selling weapons to the United States that are used against
Palestinians. Palestinians demand autonomy and agency over their lives
and future which is made impossible by the ongoing genocide that is

the daughter of Italian immigrants who were born into a war-torn and
occupied village. She’s an artist in the city of Toronto and seeks to
bridge arts and human rights. In response to being asked why she is
sailing, she said, "Because we will never stop trying anything and
everything. We will never stop. May every person on this earth rise up
in every single way they can. May your courage, and hope always be

a harm reduction worker and advocate in Toronto working with unhoused
and precariously housed people, substance users, trans and queer
individuals, and people living with/at risk of contracting HIV. Their
experiences working with unhoused individuals and living through over a
decade of homelessness compelled them into standing in solidarity with
Palestinians. They’ve seen the first hand struggles of those living
without access to care and shelter. Norrad sails to amplify calls to
rise up saying,"They are bloodying our hands by participating in this
genocide. We need to get out into the streets, we need to put our bodies
on the line. Those of us with the privilege to do so. When we say none
of us are free until all of us are free, this is exactly what we mean." We sail together with Free Gaza Australia to break the illegal siege on Gaza. Helen,
one of the Australian participants on the PERSERVERANCE states, "The
Australian government is not only joining hands with Israel in this
genocide, but they are supplying weapons parts and military intel for
the war machine. We know that this information and these parts are being
used to kill civilians. There is no excuse now, we know what's
happening, we must do something. Silence in the face of oppression means

Violet Coco,
an Australian climate and anti-war activist is also on the
PERSERVERANCE. She says, “As sick as we may be feeling, there are people
in Palestine who have no access to medications, or clean water and
care. It is important for us to acknowledge that what we're doing is
just the tip of the iceberg compared to what Palestinians do every day

this mission continues towards Gaza or is cut short by an IOF raid, we
