New Mission to Gaza: The Freedom Flotilla Sets SailBuzón

Dear supporters & friends,
In July , the Freedom Flotilla Coalition ship, aptly named the Tenacity Kate, sail from Bristol, United Kingdom. After hosting successful awareness-raising events in ports including Brest (France) and Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain), the crew and participants are continuing to raise awareness while we prepare to break the illegal Israeli blockade of Gaza.
The mission is currently at a technical stop for maintenance and then we intend to continue on to Gaza. We are constantly assessing the situation and whether we are able to sail in 2026 or 2027, our mission remains the same: to break the illegal and inhumane blockade of Gaza by sea.

We will continue to build on the success of our earlier missions, including May of this year (see Safa from Global Sumud Canada and Ehab from Canadian Boat to Gaza in the video above) and demand that our governments do more for the Palestinians of Gaza.
Together, we are taking direct nonviolent action to demand that our governments take action, and to show that threats of violence will not deter people of conscience from standing up for justice and human rights in Palestine.
As part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition we call on governments to:
Demand safe, unimpeded passage of the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza, including by making clear that any attack, seizure, or unlawful detention will have consequences, including sanctions against Israel;
Demand immediate and unrestricted access to Gaza and an end to Israel’s obstruction of food, water, medicine, and other essentials;
Defend freedom of navigation by declaring that any attack, boarding, seizure, diversion, or other use of force against Freedom Flotilla vessels will trigger immediate diplomatic action, including sanctions;
Use diplomatic, economic, legal, and other available measures to end Israel’s unlawful blockade and prevent further violations of Palestinians’ fundamental rights and international humanitarian law, and commit publicly to holding accountable any state or actor responsible for attacking, unlawfully detaining, or otherwise endangering Freedom Flotilla participants.
Canada Boat to Gaza is proud to be part of this vital Freedom Flotilla Coalition mission, joined in solidarity by the Global Sumud Flotilla.

Preparing ships for the open sea requires significant logistical backing. We need your help today to:
Keep the vessels in top seaworthy condition
Cover rising fuel and docking costs
Purchase emergency satellite and secure communication equipment
Provide essential provisions and safety gear for the crew and passengers
