El Plan Nuclear de Corea del Norte
Abstract
En el presente trabajo de investigación, analizaré el caso del Programa Nuclear de Corea del Norte, tomando como marco referencia la concepción de las Relaciones Internacionales, abordadas por el Realismo Periférico. De esta manera, y partiendo del precepto de que el análisis sobre la dinámica de este caso presenta caracteres multidimensionales, el trabajo será subdividido en diversos apartados. Comenzaré examinando el sistema internacional reciente, es decir, aquél que tiene sus raíces en el último decenio del Siglo XX, para luego continuar con un análisis acerca del acontecimiento principal pos Guerra Fría, el atentado terrorista sobre Nueva York, el 11 de Septiembre de 2001 y sus consecuencias, tras un endurecimiento de la política exterior norteamericana. Ambas perspectivas serán desarrolladas con el propósito último de relacionar el significado de estos acontecimientos y las políticas adoptadas por Corea del Norte. En segundo lugar, me enfocaré en el sistema regional, es decir, aquél que afecta en sentido geopolítico a las políticas norCoreanas. Para hacer más funcional el análisis, esta variable será subdividida en dos dimensiones: la relación sino-Coreana y la relación inter-Coreana, considerando a ambas como sustancialmente relevantes para explicar la reacción del gobierno de Pyongyang de retomar un programa nuclear congelado desde 1994. En tercer lugar, centraré mi mirada al interior de Corea del Norte para describir cuáles fueron las condiciones que hicieron posible y de alguna manera indujeron a la reimplementación del Programa Nuclear. Analizaré en este sentido, las particularidades de su régimen político y de su estructura militar, como así también, su situación económica y su relevancia geoestratégica. En el último apartado, observaré de cerca la situación actual del conflicto y finalmente, evaluaré si la política exterior de Corea del Norte es funcional para el crecimiento y el desarrollo del país, diferenciando los diversos sujetos a los que una política exterior puede servir.Download Info
